Joss Whedon says he still hasn’t given up on a Firefly revival
It’s been nearly a decade since the beloved, short-lived Fox sci-fi western Firefly graced the airwaves, but creator Joss Whedon says he’s still game to return to the universe that made him (more of) a cult icon.
Though he’s moved on to much bigger projects (you may have heard of his latest film, The Avengers?), Whedon said in a SXSW panel over the weekend that Firefly still holds a big place in his heart, and if given the chance, he’d make another movie—or a few more seasons—in a heartbeat. MORE
